URIEL UNIVERSITY'S BOLOGNA COLLEGE PRESENTS:

BIBLE COURSE WEEK EIGHT

Is the Bible just a lot of Bologna? Make an educated evaluation here.

Uriel is a forgotten angel and he needs to be rehabilitated or debunked once and for all.
If he is the guardian of the gate and the keeper of the fire of love, it would make sense that Lucifer the "light bearer" would hate him with a special malice.
Is his church built by lo duca at the train station at considerable time and expense we might add, based on a true instruction of the angel? or was it merely a jealous demon attempting to bamboozle the roman populace? let us go and make our visit.
The lawyer Carmine Alvino has done extensive research on Uriel and you can check all that out on his website if you speak Italian otherwise stay tuned.
Pope john Paul instituted the "mysteries of light" in accordance with summer, the season of the sun.

we should make a point of noting, while schools usually have a spring and fall terms and the summer is to make up stuff you flunked, and winter is just a break of a couple weeks, the solar system has four seasons, not three, and thus, joy in the spring, light in the summer, sorrow in the fall and the rebirth at the winter solstice.
did satan knock earth off its orbit a bit during the formation of our galaxy? its quite possible, given the extent of his desire to "do his own thing".
If you would like to participate in beta testing for Uriel University...you already are...but if you officially submit results of exams, we will attempt to make you the first beneficiaries of Engelblaus' bounty, meaning, you will get a free espresso at the Engelbar if it ever shall come to exist.
Because, while the espresso in Eden is free we all have to "tend the garden so to speak.

This week is about the exile and asylum of the human family.
Satan rejects the fatherhood of Elohim in the sense that He objects that God is the source of all life and happiness. so he attempts to hide and destroy the entrance to paradise to wit the heart of Jesus.
Who is MElchizedek if not the priest of the sacrifice, not the burnt offering of the cauldron (caldees) but his own carne.
And so Abram gave him a tenth of all his goods.
Abram is linked to Uriel as he came from Ur of the Caldees, and Uriel is named for the "fire of God" that came down and burnt up the sacrifice as Abram waited.
There is also an Ethiopian legend of Uriel guarding the gates of Paradise with a "fiery sword" until Jesus died and the gates were no longer guarded.

THE GOLDEN RULE.
Genesis Ch. 13, Abraham and lot were very rich and somehow they just couldnt get along. Discuss.
Matthew chapter seven, the GOLDEN RULE arguablythe most famous moral teaching ever, is immediately preceded by this harsh and seemingly un Jesus like lecture: Jesus says, Do not cast your pearls before swine, do not give what is holy to dogs for they will trample them underfoot and then turn and attack you. How does this relate to the first reading? Didnt Jesus cast the pearl of his life before the swine of people who trampled him underfoot and attacked him?
Is that just because he's able to withstand it and we're not?

WHy was JOhn the baptist? He was not betrayed for money so much as for impurity..because he stood up and called out Herod and herods stepdaughter responded "Id ont need the gs or the chariot keys, I just want the baptists head on a plate.".whereas for Iscariot, holding the money bag proved fatal in the end.
the more he resented his own ambition for power, and the rankling, ridiculous humility of Jesus, the further he fell into darkness--Like Feanor, Gollum smaug and so many others, the possession of the light--the gold--the fire--is not something we mortals can handle.
The baptist is such a fascinating figure, he deserves an extended meditation. The last of the old testament prophets, he died as they all did, for remonstrating with kings over their failure to observe the law. Was this the last time the death penalty was carried out by the Jewish law, before the Romans reserved that power to their own government alone? for we know that Rome was becoming a right wing dictatorship at the time of Christ.
No, it seems John was execute without benefit of trial which was illegal under Roman law. The pharisees had enjoyed a sort of weird impunity, stoning and throwing off cliffs if they decided someone had "invaded their theocracy" so to speak.
But Herod was a roman puppet. How come he didnt get in trouble for beheading john? was it a D'aubisson kind of thing? research this. How does this compare with the genocide of first nations who warned the gringos that they were ruining the planet? Was this the murder of prophets in some sense? Guilty conscience? Cain and Abel? If you wish, research the case of the student at U Bologna who is being held in prison in Egypt...is this a case of theocratic impunity, a Rutilio grande moment, or more like a George Bush Patriot Act dictatorhip move? a combination of all? Something else altogether? retaliation for the EU or Brexit? Discuss.
at any rate, jesus was superlatively complimentary of Joh, and this was def. not nepotism as john was gruesomely murdered and Jesus did nothing to stop it.
Yet Jesus said, "of those born of women there is NONE GREATER THAN JOHN."
Could anyone pay anyone a higher compliment?
YET: the least in heaven is greater than he.
That is like a tiny rock in heaven being greater than a volcano on earth.
what does this say about heavenly realities? Baffling? Mysterious?
Moving on to the readings, Abraham's story shows that God blesses bastards (Ishmael). Though Ishmael was the sign of a broken covenant and loss of faith on the part of Abram and sarai, God did not hold this against anyone.

Further God does not brag about his powers, and instructs the leper not to tell anyone about the miracle, but to show himself to the priest and obey the law.
One more thing, why does God not punish abraham with dumbness as he did Zacariah? For, abraham was in disbelief about the promise, just as Zacariah was. Was there some key difference? were temple priests held to a higher standard? is gabriel more huffy than God? whats going on?

SABATO 26 GIUGNO.
Venite al signore con canti di gioia.
As we wait for concludo's crew to commence the sacrifice, the narrator reflecting on the upcoming teaching of Jesus, says "why do certain miracles require faith? Because light is accepted and received by an open heart".
